Sit the speaking test before you sit the speaking test.
The speaking section is where nerves cost the most marks, and the hardest part to judge on your own — you can't hear your own band. This is a full CELPIP or IELTS simulation under timed conditions with a former IELTS examiner who has taught candidates for both tests. You leave knowing exactly what's costing you marks, broken down criterion by criterion, and roughly where you sit on the CLB scale.

The full speaking test under real timed conditions. Then I tell you specifically what's costing you marks, criterion by criterion, and where you sit on the CLB scale.
Which test?
Tell me which test you're sitting when we start — the simulation follows your test's real format and timings, whether that's CELPIP's eight recorded tasks or the IELTS face-to-face interview. If you haven't decided yet, that's worth a conversation in the session too.
Your feedback follows the same split. For IELTS that means Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy, and Pronunciation. For CELPIP it means Content/Coherence, Vocabulary, Listenability, and Task Fulfillment. The two tests publish different scales, so I mark you against yours and never mix the two.
If it's CELPIP you're sitting, it helps to know what each recorded task is asking for before the session: all eight CELPIP Speaking tasks explained goes through them one by one.
If you're aiming at a specific IELTS band, it's worth knowing what the examiner is assessing before the session: what IELTS Speaking Band 7 actually requires goes through the four criteria.
