If you're here for Academic, you're in the right place; you just won't find a wall of Academic content, because that isn't what the site is for.
Where a former examiner helps most
Academic Writing Task 1 — describing a graph, a table, or a process diagram — is where candidates most often stall, and where reliable judgment is hardest to find. It's judged on things that are easy to state and hard to apply: what to select, how to group it, which comparisons carry the marks. Having applied those descriptors to real scripts for years, I can tell you precisely why a Task 1 is sitting at 6.5 and what moves it.
To be clear about what that is and isn't: my value is judgment — how the criteria are actually applied — not test material or insider questions. Examiners work under confidentiality, and any site promising “real exam questions” is one to walk away from.
